Assisting - Hands Of Compassion FILLING

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity filling up

In this workshop you will learn to create a steady foundation for your own body while assisting.
You’ll explore the two-way communication of assisting, listening to your own and another’s energetic and physical cues.
Through connecting with yogic principles such as ahimsa (non-harming), metta (loving-kindness), and svadhyaya (self-study), you’ll learn how service to others can be an aspect of your own yogic path. Whether you're exploring this workshop as a way to deepen your own practice or you are already an experienced teacher, this workshop will give you an opportunity to explore ways to transform your practice of assisting into a potent part of your asana teaching, a source of healing and support to your students, and a powerful expression of loving-kindness.

Note: This class takes place in The Quiet Place, which is a short 15 minute walk from the main festival site. Please plan accordingly and bring a snack if you have back-to-back classes in this venue.
