Kawela Culture Walk: Mythology of the Hawaiian Landscape

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Like footprints in the sand, the mana of the Hawaiian deities and ancestors still resonates from the land, so let's tread lightly as we journey along. Let us regard all the ʻaina (land that feeds us) of Hawaiʻi as sacred, for we have the honor of sharing in the mana of those who came before us along the flowing current of space and time. They wrote their stories on the landscape because they wanted the future generations to know, to remember, to celebrate this sacred landscape—so let us join in that celebration and honor this sacred place called Kawela!
